Terms and Conditions for Members of Society by The Edison Society

 

 1. Introduction

 

Welcome to the Members of Society program offered by The Edison Society. By enrolling in the membership program, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

 2. Membership Eligibility

 

To be eligible for the Members of Society program, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

 

 3. Membership Fee

 

The membership fee for the Members of Society program is $365 for one calendar year from the date of booking. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid in full at the time of enrollment.

 

 4. Membership Benefits

 

Members of Society provides the following benefits:

- **Resume and LinkedIn Audit:** A one-time comprehensive review and feedback on your resume and LinkedIn profile (a $500 value, based on availability).

- **How to Improve Your Resume Using AI Course:** Access to a specialized course designed to enhance your resume using AI technology (a $299 value, pre-recorded and sent to you).

- **Ready-made Templates:** Access to a variety of templates to help kickstart your new career.

- **Guidebooks:** A series of guidebooks designed to boost your professional reputation.

- **Tips and Tools:** Resources and advice to help secure a promotion or a new job.

- **Reputation Management and Personal Branding Resources:** Tools and resources to manage your professional reputation and personal brand.

- **App Access:** Access to an exclusive app featuring profiles of other leaders.

 

 5. Duration and Renewal

 

Membership in the Members of Society program is valid for one calendar year from the date of booking. Membership does not automatically renew. Members will be notified prior to the expiration of their membership and may choose to renew at the then-current membership fee.

 

 6. Use of Membership Benefits

 

Membership benefits are personal to the member and cannot be transferred or shared. The Edison Society reserves the right to modify or discontinue any benefits at any time without prior notice. 

 

 7. Conduct and Compliance

 

Members are expected to act professionally and respectfully when interacting with other members and utilizing membership benefits. Any behavior deemed inappropriate by The Edison Society may result in termination of membership without refund.

 

 8. Privacy and Data Protection

 

The Edison Society is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during the membership registration process will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By enrolling in the Members of Society program, you consent to the use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

 

 9. Limitation of Liability

 

The Edison Society is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the use of membership benefits or the inability to access such benefits. The Edison Society's total liability under these terms and conditions shall not exceed the amount of the membership fee paid by the member.

 

 10. Governing Law

 

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Edison Society operates. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

 

 11. Amendments

 

The Edison Society reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any changes and continued use of membership benefits will constitute acceptance of the amended terms and conditions.
